Minor Surgery

Our experienced GPs offer minor surgery procedures under local anaesthetic to treat or remove moles, skin tags, seborrheic keratosis, sebaceous/pilar cysts, warts and veruccae.

Prior to all minor surgery appointments, patients must first have an assessment with the doctor.

Cryotherapy

Excision requiring stitches

- Mole removal

Histology costs

For most moles and for some other lesions, it will be necessary to send the lesion for histology (testing). This is to check for any abnormal cells. The doctor will advise if this will be required at your minor surgery assessment appointment.

Minor surgery assessment

Prior to all minor surgery appointments, patients must be assessed by the doctor.  The doctor will advise the most appropriate treatment, including confirming whether minor surgery is an option.  This is a 15 minute appointment costing £75.
